Vittorio Sanguineti was the Italian Trade Commissioner in charge of ICE inCalifornia during the 1950s and 1960s.

As head of the Foreign Trade Institute offices at the consulates of Los Angeles and San Francisco, he directed an intense "promotion" activity to inform about and spread  Italian products, managing the Italian participation in numerous fairs, shows and cultural events and maintaining a constant press activity, through the publication of several articles in important American newspapers, informing on the state of the Ital's economy and trade with the US.
