Zoe, Micol and Giovanna are three women destined to write the history of Italian fashion that the world, years later, will call the Fontana Sisters. Trained in their mother's tailor's shop, in 1943 they decided to set up their own business and open a tailor's shop in Rome; their talent led them to be called in 1951 by Giorgini for the fashion show dedicated to selected American buyers. Thanks to their success at the fashion show, the Sorelle Fontana, at the request of U.S. buyers, combine the production of haute couture with that of ready-to-wear to which will be added accessories, linens and perfumes.
