Irene Galitzine

Born in Russia, Irene Galitzine took her first steps in the world of fashion thanks to the Fontana Sisters and became, in 1945, a model for their atelier.

Following the birth of the Boutique Galitzine-Rome line, which reflects her lifestyle, she began her career as an ambassador in the world of Italian style: together with Emilio Pucci, she was in Florence to present original models for the catwalk in the Sala Bianca. The care in the choice of fabrics, combined with the ethnic suggestions of her creations reveal her Russian origin, while the sophisticated appeal of the collections reveals a taste strongly influenced by Italian fashion.
